It is with ineffable sadness that we learn of the passing of Howard Zinn this morning – one of our favorite Professors and America’s leading voice for grassroots Democracy – both politically and economically – at the age of 87.

We caught up with Howard – author of eternal truths in “A People’s History of The United States” back in November leading up to the premiere of “The People Speak” with Matt Damon on The History Channel. We thought we’d share this with you and say goodbye together.
